In Harmony Fitness is a personal training service where the focus is designing and implementing a fitness program that fits the needs of the individual. The philosophy of In Harmony Fitness is a holistic one..."to be fit is to be fit physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually".

The main service that In Harmony Fitness offers is a one on one fitness program that is designed and tailored to fit each individual client's need to build muscular strength and balance, core strength and flexibility.

Clients can enjoy working out in a private studio located at 919 West Main Street, Suite M1, Hendersonville, TN 37075 

Strength Training

A systematic approach using various equipment and manipulating the number of repetitions, sets, weight used and tempo to help lose body fat; change body composition; increase metabolism; strengthen bones; increase strength and endurance of muscles; improve coordination and balance; and increase confidence and self-esteem.

Core Conditioning

Core conditioning

A multi-dimensional approach using various exercises to stabilize and protect the spine and to have a strong connection between the upper and lower body.

Yoga

Yoga/YogaFit Level 1

YogaFit (Yoga for the Fitness Industry) was created by Beth Shaw. It is functional yoga combining traditional yoga poses and exercises with push-ups, sit- ups, and squats in a flowing format. This Yoagfit style of yoga can help improve flexibility, strength and endurance, core strength and balance. Mary has been YogaFit/Level 1 certified since 2006.

ABOUT MARY Adams, RN, CPT

Mary obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia in 1999. Graduated Magna Cum Laude, Mary is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and was awarded the All American Scholar Collegiate Award. Mary continues to practice nursing and maintains her license and all the required updated training and education.

Mary obtained her Personal Trainer Certification (CPT) in 2005 through the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.). Each year Mary participates in various A.C.E seminars and continuing education courses which keeps her updated on the most recent fitness advancements.

It was her life long passion for fitness that inspired her to obtain the A.C.E certification and to establish her own business in 2005. Mary enjoys sharing her knowledge of fitness and motivating others to improve their overall well being.
